Christmas Hightlights

It has been so much fun being with my family for Christmas. Brighton was one of the Wisemen at our family Christmas party. He loved opening presents and loves playing with his presents even more!

My little Helper

Brighton is very excited about Christmas. He had lots of fun helping decorate the tree, wrap presents, and dances to all the Christmas songs. I have some wonderful news... He finally decided to sleep through the night! HOORAY, since he has been born I have not had a full nights rest until last week. I am feeling so rested!

Christmas Time

For date night last week we went out with our neighbors to the Spanish Fork lights and then to Wingers. Brighton loves his little fuzzy outfit and can't get enough of it. He absolutely loved the lights. I put him on my lap, he screamed the whole time so excited! I love my little love bug!

First Payment

Today our first payment on our house was due so I thought it was about time to get some pictures up on the house. We are still working on some of the rooms but have made a lot of progress. Kim and Alan were in town for Thanksgiving. They helped us build in another shelf in our closet, add shelves to the linen closet and in the pantry. They also did lots of hanging. We love our new house and are enjoying the area and neighbors.

Bath Time

Heather and Kherrington were over tonight and it was bedtime. Tomorrow is Aunt Amy's reception so the babies needed a bath so they would be all fresh and clean for the next day. Brighton splashed the whole time and Kherrington just laughed and laughed. They were so cute!

We moved!!

And so did our clutter, we're still working on putting it all together but love our new house!!

My Stud!

Brighton is growing so fast!! He is sleeping better at night, and still loves his naps during the day! Here are some cute pictures from the past month.

Update

So I know a lot of people are waiting for a post with us in our new house. Well, we're still not there and are unsure when we will be closing. We are still waiting on a grant to go through ($4,000 worth the wait) The house is completed and we are packed so as soon as we get the go ahead. I am so antsy to be in my house, get all organized and decorate!!



Brighton turns 7 months this week. I can't believe how big he is!! He is moving everywhere-really getting his legs involved now so he can go faster. He has learned to climb over CHris and I so we can no longer road block :( He has been eating his bottles a little better but now decided that he doesn't like his baby food. Oh man!! Mostly he still doesn't sleep through the night but it is alright because he is just so dang cute! I love my little stud!!




My little truck turned so old this week! I can't believe that I got it with only 2,000 miles. It has been such a wonderful car!!

Our house

So the count down finally begins until we get to move into our real house!! I am so excited that tonight I already packed two boxes!!!! The house is really coming along. We have our cabinents, laminate, countertops, lights, and plumbing. There's not much more to be done. We close late next week and are so excited to move in.

Recently Chris turned 27 and Brighton 6 months.

The doctor told us he is in the 70th % for height and only 21 % for weight. What can I say, the kid thinks he has too much else to do in the world than eat. He is moving all over the place and can get any where he wants. He smiles all day long and loves life. Brighton goes to bed right at 9 every night, we are still working on sleeping through the night but the doctor gave us some great ideas that have been really working. He gets up at 7 and is great about taking his three naps everyday. He is our little bundle of joy and I couldn't imagine life without him.

In other news: This week i was able to start teaching part time. It has been so nice to be home in the mornings with my husband and baby. Our house is coming right along, it is all painted and has the cupboards and flooring in. Pictures soon to come
